It being a religion in India, it shall be a national thumbs up................
Before the memory of our victory in1983 permanently fades...........We have  the opportunity to repeat the feat after more than two decades..........
One cannot but help feel a little nostalgic,It would be really tragic if you are not able to repeat the 1983 world cup magic.......
That particular world cup had bequeathed on us Indians a legacy.............
We have again got a chance to show that for us , winning it is no longer just a fantasy..............
It does not matter that the Australians are the current world Champions.................
You have already shown ,Dhoni what you can do with your companions............
In fact, it seems that on your current form,It would be a travesty of fate if in the world cup you don’t perform...........
Whether it is the recent tournaments at home or the victory against the pakistan yesterday in semifinals............
The world cup has nor room for complacency, let it not put you at ease........
Unlike some countries which acquire a stray nuke.....We have to show to the world that 1983 was no fluke........
There is no better way to show your resilience..........then to break the two decade long silence.......
After a gap of more than twenty years..............You are once again the object of the nation’s eyes and ears...........

World’s largest democracy is india is it not proud to every Indian............
 All of us are aware that the political parties of India would easily out number the stars in the galaxy...............
 The funny thing  that happens during the elections in our india...............
The political parties  gear up hiring marketing and advertisement agencies to make an impressive campaign that can get those votes...........
 The TV media collaborated with psephologists,work over time to force their biased views down the people’s throats in the name of analysis......... 
There will be discussions, brainstorming sessions on chalking out the manifestos, fielding of candidates that will keep the political parties too busy....
 Frankly speaking, how much such issues matter when it comes it is full of corruption...............
 The suggestions are for the voters and political parties alike........
 Reviews, comments, appraisals on the present political situation, what needs to be done are broadly discussed.............. 
Will these blogs, ad campaigns make the real difference?
 Are these catering to the real India? I wonder...........
Invariably, almost all the media focused on the internal security of the nation. The public memory is too short............
 I would thank the terrorists, who kept our memory alive with frequent blasts all over the country just to spread similar feelings all over the country......
 If not fully united, at the least, these blasts generated a need of an awakening.
 I do agree the internal security is a genuine problem but is it the only problem? 
Had it been the case Delhi would have given us a different result........ 
I still can’t accept that a handful of terrorists can take a country for a ride without local support............ 
Have we ever tried to find out the moles / black sheep among ourselves and punish them?
 What are the issues that concern the nation?
 What have they promised and what is the status vis-à-vis their promises?
Our PM promised a makeover of Mumbai to Shangai. Did it happen? 
and one thing as we dont want shangai just bring back mumbai....out of terrorists............
They promised flats on slums.......  it too did not happen.....never happens.... 
Governments screamed “garibi hatao” and boasted that it is for “aam aadmi” but it almost forgot common man........... 
Yet, we listen to their non-sense elections after elections........... 
This Government is of the people, for the people but not by the people.......
 Politicians have cleverly changed this phrase to “Buy the people”. Successive Govts preferred to provide people free-fish rather than teaching how-to-fish...............
 This conditioned the people to remain perennial beggars so that they can be bought from time and again on a single day luxury...........
 Election Day is the luxury day for this class of people.............
 They do not want to look into their past as it is not rosy......... 
They do not want to look into their future because it is bleak.........
 They are concerned about the present............
 How to survive the day is their prime challenge................ 
This is exploited by our politicians to the maximum................ 
They pay them for the day.......exaggerated pay, feed them fully, provide them liquor and maneuver things the way they want.............. 
These men vote as many times as they can without realizing that their votes tilt the balance of the country!  
Elite class people have nothing to do with the election................
 Whoever rules the country, the policies are derived by this class for mutual gains...........
Less we talk of the middle-class men is better.............. 
They are good at commenting, writing blogs or letters to the editor, good at whining but when it comes to action, they are vanished.
 So, ideally it is better not to waste energy on listening to them..... 
They do not have an idea of their own.,,,,,,,,,,,,, 
They easily get carried away by the TV channel they watch or the news magazine they read.,,,,, 
If they have problems, let them learn to live with it......... 
They have been doing it and they must be masters in it by now!
After 62 years of independence, there are around 70 crore people who do not have access to electricity..................
 It is a different story that those who have access to electricity have for only 50% of the available time............ 
There are no plans seems available with the Government to cater this ever-increasing demand...............
Again, there are around 60 crore people who lack access to drinking water. Rain water harvest, check dams are the need of the hour............ 
Has the Govt thrown any light on this?
Agricultural sector is thoroughly neglected................. 
Why can’t we try out other crops instead of toiling for rice and wheat repeatedly?
 Farmers do not need free power..............
 They want water..... By giving free power we waste the power and weaken the earth by pulling out water. 
Why can’t we try our Drip irrigation system or check dam system?
Numerous vehicles are introduced to roads every day that adds to the carbon emission.................
 If the public transport system has been efficient private vehicles would not have grown this far.................
 For an efficient public transport system, we lack good roads........
 Infra structure is one area that is long forgotten............... 
The golden quadrilateral project that took the life of a whistle blower is no longer visible.............
 Such projects would bring the cost down on logistics and can provide employment...............
Crime rate is on the rise.............. 
Violence is glorified in films..........
 Policemen are no longer people-friendly......... 
Corruption has taken roots among all levels like a cancer........
 Common public are losing interest in nation’s affairs....... 
What made it to happen? They behave indifferent to whatever happens around as long as it does not affect them primarily....... 
Did some one try to analyze and find a solution?
The problem lies with us................. 
We respect those who amass wealth by whatever means......... 
We remain indifferent to unethical practices around us............ 
Blaming politics as gutter, we isolated ourselves from it but keep whining when it failed to provide solutions............ 
We have learnt to live with problems and always expect Govt to provide us a solution................ 
We do not see an issue in a broader perspective but from a narrow perspective that matter to the individual only.................
I am sure, even this blog would not make a difference but I expressed.
 The election is not fought on issues but bought on money! 
Let us not cheat ourselves by discussing all these! 
There is a huge difference between Real India and the Political India.....

what we have.........

I wonder if the guys in the government get any quality time to run the affairs of the nation considering they must be extremely tied up in garnering illegal money/power and thereafter cleaning up the muck.....................
I think most of us would have faced some corrupt official at some point of time in our lives.... One would have also encountered talks that collections made by say a constable, travels till it reaches the top........... 
Who is at the top?
the C.P or the I.G or the D.G. or does it travel even higher?
We would have also heard that lots of money changes hands to get a plum posting....plum post means a designation that inherently carries a decent potential of making money from illegal sources............
Who makes the postings of govt. employees?
I guess politicians and administrators in powerful positions.... 
The rule that applies for cops will probably stay good for doctors, tax and excise officials, officials in financial institutions, infrastructure, railways, airlines, schools, colleges, mid day meals, hotels, sports authorities, district administration, industrial development boards, area developments authorities, rural development schemes, poverty alleviation programmes and so on ..... 
So it partially proves that any public job that is supposed to be done by a govt. official as rendering of service for which he or she is being paid a salary will not be done till such time that a certain amount of illegal monetary transaction takes place.............
I came across a report in a journal a few back, it said our country is more than 50% corrupt. Not too bad, a sigh of relief, it is only about 50% whereas it seems like 100% on the street.... But look at it the other way and you will realise that 50% is hell of a lot.............
 No political party gets anywhere close to 50% of the casted votes and yet they claim that they are democratically elected representatives............ 
50% aggregate in exams is a big pass and second division............ 
Are we an absolutely corrupt country? 
Well unfortunately it seems that way........... 
When most of the citizens of a country have to pay illegal money or bribe to get facilitated by a fundamental right that the constitution of that country granted them 60 years ago, that country is got to be a huge hugely corrupt country......... 
If someone agrues that people may decide not to pay bribe and slowly the system will become strong and eventually honesty will prevail............ 
I feel saddened to write this but we live in a country where corruption is in our bone marrow. 
Are we so corrupt and cunning............
I will ask them to shut up and tell them that it is just the system of bribe that keeps our economy growing at 8 or 9%, if people decide not to pay to get their jobs done, things will come to a standstill, most of the things will not move..... 
And there will be so many litigations that it will take hundreds of years to clear them..
 The ordinary man will run to so many places that the life expectancy will reduce to half........
The big plus, for the politicians involved is that there is no risk of being questioned.......... 
Milking the nation in the garb of safeguarding prestige is an art our politicians have perfected..........
But this issue was not picked by the electronic media.................why?
again a power play.........
Now comes to CW games...............
The mess as we all know runs into thousands of crores.......... 
And i dont think any one will doubt that money definitely reached beyond suresh kalmadi.... So when the muck bloated and it was apparent that things will soon be talked about and questions will be raised, the friends in the electronic media were tipped off and the entire focus was shifted from BIG SCAM to suresh kalmadi............ 
As things stand today, the focus stays on kalmadi, he is the scape goat for the buffet shared by everyone......... 
And now political will given whatever will happen will happen only to him and everyone else will go scot free..........
 In any case a bigger scam has been brought into light..................
 So basically the CWG issues have been taken care of.............
Next 2G spectrum.
I have been reading about the scam for now or perhaps even more............. 
It is obvious that the scam runs into thousands of crores if not lacs of crores or even more.... If i would have known that a certain employee of my company has been playing, i would have acted, and acted myself.............
 It is sad that the PM chose not be get bothered about almost 1/6th of our GDP amount.... After all he needed the support of MP's to support him through the nuclear bill..... 
And there after to win the general elections.......... 
And only now when the govt feels confident that they can get the support of more MP's from another political party, they have started the process of cleaning the 2G spectrum mess.
I have only 1 question to ask here............ 
How much money does it take to live a comfortable (ROYAL) life?
 Luxurious lifestyle in a house like Mukesh Ambani's? 4000 Crores?, Few of the best Cars? 100 Crores?, Best and impenetrable Security and Surveillance system? 50 Crores?, 
Best meals from 7 star hotels for life? few more crores? What does one do with rest of the money one makes with legal and illegal means? 
The answer is power, control over the lives of people, controlling the whole country and doing what you think is right for rest for rest of the country and parts of the world....... 
That is what insane amount of money does.. 
And so anyone who lets corruption bypass just to control the country and lives of its people and sit on unfathomable power is as corrupt as it may ever get.............
To top these, there are stories of land grabs by politicians and administrators doing rounds everyday in the media................
 What is it telling us.
 It is telling us that when we institutionalised corruption, created power cartels, we let go Rs.50 - 60 crore scams decades ago, we sowed the plants of such mammoth scams.... 
Most of the people are themselves corrupt now so what do they say about corruption..... 
Rest think why talk about it as nothing will happen, this is called desensitising...........
We have flipped out the sensitivity from the issue, it does not matter............ 
In effect, we have reduced the role of the common man as it is only him who suffers as it is his share of money that has been taken away............
 Everyone else's money has reached their pockets............

We cant stop god creations..............

Thoughts become things but all things are not brought by thoughts.
It is true that thoughts eventually become the reality but nobody can maintain that everything that comes to pass in life is due to one’s thoughts. 
There are natural disasters like Sunami, hurricanes, earthquakes, famines, volcanic eruptions, floods, pestilences, epidemics and plaques which occur as per the inherent physical and chemical laws of this planet and nature. 
Thoughts cannot produce them................ 
The forces involved are colossal, beyond even the imagination of anyone............ 
Yes, conscious, energized and persistent thoughts always become reality......... Whatever one visualizes for long does happen.................. 
The energy will influence nature and attract forces, people circumstances that will help in the transformation.
The brain vibrations will interact with the universal energy and the invisible thing becomes tangible.
But it is erroneous to say that ‘things are thoughts.’ 
Natural calamities are also forms of energy. But the energy involved is colossal. The forces are massive and huge. Nobody can bring or stop a volcanic eruption or an earthquake or a hurricane.
Imagine one person thinks of stopping one of them. 
Let us say one focuses all his thoughts on stopping an earthquake. Of course his thoughts do produce some energy, but it is negligible in comparison to the massive tectonic forces involved in shaking this earth!
Even if a million people concentrated their thoughts it would amount to almost nothing......... 
Thoughts may become things , only if they are prolonged with intensity over a long period of time.......... 
The ‘thing’ produced is of very small energy value...............
 Hence a million people’s thoughts of a day a month or an year will not produce any great effect like a natural calamity..
 Everything in nature follows the laws of the Universe Bigger forces overpower the smaller ones............
 Who can stop the earth spinning around the sun? It has been doing it for over 4000 million years.............. 
It has to continue its revolution and its rotation around its own axis so far as the overpowering sun is there............. 
The sun of course is revolving around the galactic nucleus.............
 It cannot stop this either.............
 Everything on this earth plants, animals and humans are produced by an infinitesimal portion of the sun’s energy coming to this earth.........
 What then can these ‘poor’ creatures do to prevent natural calamities which are powered by such a massive object, such a colossal world of energy?

MY DAD............

My dad hold in his arms......when iam as a sick baby girl.................until the sun peeks through the darkness......... 
letting him know the night of worry is over.........................
He took my small hand in his and walk slowly as I take my firstwalk to the ice cream shop to share a cone full of heaven on earth.............
He used to sip from the tiny tea cup my mother has set in front of him ....he will sing the praises of her great hospitality..........
My dad used to sit through dance recitals and fashion shows where he is the only audience.......to my shows at home.......... 
and will clap with the enthusiasm of a thousand people.............
He introduced me to the world outside as if just experiencing it for the first time himself................ 
Perhaps he is........................
I still remeber he used to sit with me through sweat and tears over homework....... that was supposed to be turned in the day before and he'll smile as they finish, seeing my relief................
He used to tell a firm message to my teacher that comes to take me to the school dance..........performance......... back to the stage........ 
silently letting him know where he stands and what he expects...........
He used to watch me wiht overflowing pride as his young lady accepts her high school diploma............ 
and will silently pray to God to calm his fears........... and get him throughout the day.............
He used to be busy with full of conversation  with friends.........and more than happy to listen.......... all these years.....he gently fold my arm around me and with all the courage and faith he can hold onto.................. 
He will stroll down the aisle, giving my hand but keeping my youth............
He will be the first one in my world wathch carefully of what iam....... carefully..............carefully inspecting the activities of his sweetest daughter................
He will reassure me as time rages on and the signs of his old age start to frighten me..............
He will caress my hand with a passion......... to which I has never felt..............

Nature has given Women so much power........

I honor all the Women in the world for their one and universal cause on the occasion of the Women’s Day today.....

Things have changed forever more.............

Time has stood still...............

No longer you are the little girl that you used to be...................

The memories will remain close in your heart, Innocence is forever............

Oh my dear Women.............through time, marriage and children, so much knowledge has been gained...............

And for you yet so many questions still remain........

Will the answers ever unfold?

Attitude and thoughts are now conceived so differently............

Who are the real friends, and who are the real enemies?

Who and what are the real priorities?

Will you still lose yourself trying to do for everyone else?

I think not, the most valuable lesson you have learned,

Your soul needs nourishing too..................

But which path you take to do so, only you can decide............

The impact may be great, but Women you stay strong.................you now carry yourself in a different way..............

Some say for good, others say for worse..................

But as long as you know and remember your reflections of yesterday,

It may intimidate some men but that is no reason to tone down your real abilities...... do not blame yourself for any man’s insecurity and by all means do not apologise for being phenomenal.................

There are millions of men out there who will love you exactly the way you are  brains, big job, confidence, beauty, bling and all............... Empowered women are the future.................

I wish that ALL women will attain economic freedom and be able to have a say in their lives and homes without being reminded by Mr. Pathetic that he has worked for everything they are now enjoying.................

 And I wish that ALL men will respect all women no matter how financially dependent they are on them and realise that money does not make any person better than the other..... integrity is what makes one better than the other.............

I will end my clearly biased wish by wishing all my fellow women, a happy Women’s Day and beyond that I wish you a life of dignity, love and respect............

I wish you a life that does not stifle your best instincts but instead accommodates and nurtures them.... continually providing opportunities for you to be your best............

 And to all men who are with us on this journey to self love, acceptance and empowerment, may posterity reward you.....

HAPPY SIVARATRI.........

With his neck, consecrated by the flow of water flowing from the thick forest-like locks of hair, and on the neck, 
where the lofty snake is hanging garland, and the Damaru drum making the sound of 
Damat Damat Damat Damat................... 
Lord Siva did the auspicious dance of Tandava and may He shower prosperity on us all............ 
I have a very deep interest in Lord Siva, whose head is glorified by the rows of moving waves of the celestial river Ganga, agitating in the deep well of his hair-locks, and who has the brilliant fire flaming on the surface of his forehead, and who has the crescent moon as a jewel on his head...................... 
May my loved ones mind seek happiness in the Lord Siva, in whose mind all the living beings of the glorious universe exist, who is the sportive companion of Parvati........, who controls.................. 
Invincible hardships with the flow of his compassionate look, who is all-persuasive........
May my loved one's get wonderful pleasure in Lord Siva, who is supporter of all life, who with his creeping snake with reddish brown hood and with the luster of his gem on... it spreading out variegated colors on the beautiful faces of the maidens of directions, who is covered with a glittering upper garment made of the skin of a huge intoxicated elephant................... 
May Lord siva give us prosperity, who has the moon as his head-jewel, whose hair is tied by the red snake garland, whose foot stool is grayed by the flow of dust from the flowers from the rows of heads of all the Gods.............
May we get the wealth from Siva's locks of hair, which devoured the God of Love with the sparks of the fire flaming in his forehead, who is bowed by all the celestial leaders, who is beautiful with a crescent moon....... 
My interest is in Lord Siva, who has three eyes, who has offered the powerful God of Love into the fire, flaming Dhagad Dhagad on the flat surface of his forehead who is the sole expert artist of drawing decorative lines on the tips of breasts of Parvati, the daughter of the mountain king....... 
May Lord Siva give us prosperity, who bears the burden of this universe, who is lovely with the moon, who is red wearing the skin, who has the celestial river Ganga, whose neck is dark as midnight of new moon night covered by many layers of clouds. 
Lord Siva, whose dance of Tandava is in tune with the series of loud sounds of drum making Dhimid Dhimid sounds, who has the fire on the great forehead, the fire that is spreading out because of the breath of the snake wandering in whirling motion in the glorious sky............. 
 Let us worship him in our souls............... Lord Sadasiva eternally auspicious God, with equal vision towards the people and an emperor, and a blade of grass and lotus-like eye, towards both friends and enemies, towards the valuable gem and some lump of dirt, towards a snake and a garland and towards varied ways of the world................. 
When will I be happy, living in the hollow place near the celestial river, Ganga, carrying the folded hands on my head all the time, with all people hurdles washed away, and uttering the mantra of Lord Siva and devoted in the God with glorious forehead with vibrating eyes......................

Do you ever find there are times when you really ought to take your own advice?
A day in my life that is yesterday I have decided that is what I ought to do.......................
I thought to slow down, breathe easy, make a poem of my life........... 
ME.......... MYSELF I told with in me....... Don't let life rush by,reflect......
 Look for beauty and rejuvenate your soul.................
I have actually had a good day today..........
When not working I have picked up some works to do for my kitchen, found some new golden thoughts for my work, wrote some poetry, made a white bean salad with a coconut dressing, sipped green tea and eaten cake................ 
I have met with my family friends in the evening....................
Wow! When I list it like that I realise I have been blessed with a wonderful day today............ 
But I also realise I have not enjoyed yestareday even though it is a wonderfull day..................
particularly yesterday, I seem to be living by the exact opposite principles to these............... 
I am rushing everything because I feel there is too much to do and I am so desperate to move onto the next thing that I am doing each thing badly and certainly not enjoying what I am doing it!
I feel stressed and over-stretched.....
 I have failed to be in the moment during any of those precious moments. I have spent each of them worried about the next moment. I have missed the beauty in all of them. My life has not been a poem, it has been a mass of thrilling experiences............ What a waste of a wonderful yesterday!
So as of now I am going to take my own advice............. I am going to slow down and breathe easy. 
I am going to rejuvenate my soul by looking back over the list of things I have done above and I am going to take the time in retrospect to appreciate them for all their worth and the joy they should have brought me.......................though me myself did not enjoyed those mements.......
